B.C. Mini Summer Bucket List! We're here for a Good Time!

We are back in British Columbia for a good time, and a short time, so we hoping to visit some of our favourite local spots (all precautions in place) while we are here!

Port Coquitlam Dyke/ Trail

We love getting out into nature while we're here because B.C. is just so bountiful in its natural escapes and beauty. Literally, right in our backyard the first place we hit is the Port Coquitlam trail. I love this walking path so much, it has brought me so much peace, calm and opportunity for reflection growing up in PoCo. Whenever we visit my old stomping grounds, I can't wait to come here; I think of many the times I spent going on long walks with friends and family talking about life's challenges, our hopes and dreams. Such a treat to now do that with my own family.

We will visit some other local lakes or trails while we are here, and some other spots we are also hoping to check out are:

Rocky Point Park in Port Moody (for the best ice-cream);

Fort Langley with all its adorable local boutiques, ice-cream shops, and vintage inspired finds;

Steveston Village in Richmond for a lazy walk on the docks and the fish and chips of course!

Also, one or two cute boutique/ independent shops the Tri Cities or Metro Vancouver area like, Willow and Wall Flower in Port Moody, The Cross in Vancouver, Paper-Ya in Granville Island

Getting out much further and to the islands may be a bridge too far this time, that will be part two of my B.C. bucket list come fall!

If you are a local B.C. resident, share some of your favourite spots with us in the comments!
